salon-quality care, without the salon

Why a house call

The hardest part is usually the car

A salon asks a nervous animal to do the worst thing first: get in a car, walk into a loud room full of strangers, then wait in a crate until somebody is free. A house call removes every one of those steps.

I set up on your floor, your pet stays on ground they already know, and you carry on with your day a few feet away. Most pets settle in minutes instead of hours.

Humanity over vanity. Light matting I work out by hand. Severe matting gets shaved, because dragging a tight mat off skin hurts. You will hear the plan before I start, so nothing at the end is a surprise.

How it works

Three steps, no car ride

  1. Send a request

Text, call, or use the form. Tell me your pet’s breed, size and coat, and roughly what you are after.

  2. We agree a time

I confirm the visit and the starting price. First-time clients place a deposit to hold the slot.

  3. I come to you

I arrive with everything I need. Stay nearby, work from home, or just get on with your day.

Meet your stylist

Fifteen years, one pet at a time

Hi, I am Pamela. I started out as a bather and worked my way up to professional dog stylist, and after fifteen years in the industry I branched out on my own. You are not booking a rota. You are booking me, every visit, which is exactly how a nervous pet learns to relax.

Seeing the same groomer in the comfort of their own home helps build familiarity, trust and a calmer grooming experience for pets, one visit at a time.

Kennel-free and by appointment on purpose: no cages, no stacked bookings, and plenty of time to work at your pet’s pace.

General

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Petite Paws LLC is licensed, insured and locally owned. Pamela is the only person who will ever handle your pets, so you always know exactly who is coming.

What areas do you serve?

Tule Springs and Aliante are inside the standard service area, so there is no travel charge. I also serve the wider northwest Las Vegas and North Las Vegas area for a mileage fee of one to two dollars per mile outside the local area. Not sure if you are in range? Send me your neighborhood and I will tell you straight away.

What happens when I book for the first time?

First-time clients place a deposit to hold the appointment, and it comes off your final price. Dog walking and pet sitting always begin with a free meet and greet, so nobody meets a stranger on day one.

How do I pay?

Payment is due the day of service. Cash, check, Zelle and credit or debit cards are all welcome. Credit cards carry a 1.5% surcharge, and there is no fee on cash, check, Zelle, debit or prepaid cards.

Grooming

How is a house-call groom priced?

Every price you see is a starting price. The final number depends on your pet’s size, coat condition and how they handle the visit. I give you the starting price when we book and confirm the final price with you before I begin, so nothing is a surprise at the door.

What if my dog is matted?

Matting is handled humanely, and sometimes that means a shorter cut than you were hoping for. Comfort comes before looks, every time. Fifteen minutes of brushing is included with any groom, and heavy matting past that is billed at one dollar per minute. You will always hear the plan before I start.

What do you need when you arrive?

A tub or sink, a power outlet and a bit of floor space. That is genuinely all I need. It also helps to know about any medical needs, sore spots or past bad experiences before I start.

Do you groom cats?

Grooming appointments are for dogs. Cats are very welcome for drop-in visits, which cover fresh food and water, litter, medication, playtime and company while you are away.

What if I need to cancel a groom?

Life happens, so message me as early as you can. A late cancellation is $25 per pet, and a no-show is 50% of the scheduled groom price.

Dog walking

Will my dog be walked with other dogs?

No. This is a one-on-one service. Only pets from the same household are ever walked together, and up to three of them walk together at no extra charge.

What happens in extreme heat?

Las Vegas summers can be dangerous for dogs, so walks may be shortened or adjusted when conditions call for it. Early morning and evening are usually best in the hot months.

Can you give my dog treats or post photos?

Both are entirely up to you. You choose on your service agreement, and I go by whatever you pick. Either way you get photo updates and a written summary after every walk.

What if I need to cancel a walk?

Cancellations inside 24 hours are 50% of the service, and no-shows are charged in full. Payment is due the day of service.

Cat and dog drop-in visits

Do you look after cats?

Yes. Drop-in visits cover cats and dogs: fresh food and water, litter, potty breaks, playtime, a home security check and a photo update every time.

Do you need a key?

Key pick up and return is free, and every sitting client starts with a free meet and greet so your pets already know me before the first visit.

Can you give medication?

Yes, at no extra charge. There is also no fee for extra pets in the same household, or for your pet’s size or breed.

Dog walks and drop-in visits run Monday to Sunday for gentle, kid-friendly pets. Pet sitting starts with a free meet and greet.

Before your first visit

  1. A tub or sink, a power outlet and a bit of floor space. That is genuinely all I need.
  2. An honest coat report. Tell me how matted it really is so I can quote the right time.
  3. The full story. Skin, joints, meds, past bad experiences. Nothing is too small.
  4. A deposit holds your first appointment. It comes off the final price.
